Civitas Strategies works as the long-term economic development consultant for the Town of Cumberland. In this role Civitas serves as an augment to the Town’s staff and a strategic partner in their projects. This partnership includes a variety of projects including, commercial and residential site development, redevelopment facilitation, and a Strategic Plan for their police department.
03 Results
As a long-term consultant, this project is continually on-going. The result of this partnership with the Town is the continued, successful development of the community.
The police department 5-year strategic plan includes growth of the department in officers, capital planning, and flattening of command structure to better represent the department shift schedule. It also includes work on policy improvements and implementation planning.
